Job Description

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Quality Inspector who will be working in Wetherby, West Yorkshire.Job purposeTo inspect the quality of products, whilst adhering to correct quality standards. Work as part of a team to resolve issues and make improvements to products, processes and service.This company offering great benefits, including:- on-site restaurant- car park- uniform- health screen- 25 days holiday plus stats- referral scheme £500- 85% staff discount- Covid-19 Retention Bonus Scheme Rules 2021:The Scheme will be paid as follows:The payment each quarter will be based on satisfactory performanceo After 12 weeks completed - £500 will be paido After 26 weeks completed - £500 will be paido After 38 weeks completed - £500 will be paido After 52 weeks completed - £500 will be paidDuties and responsibilities Inspect supply quality Book products on to site "GIN" Goods in Lotus Notes Liaising with the QA Team Leader, suppliers and relevant buyer when problems arise from inspections Investigate and advise on customer care issues Accurate collection of data generated and circulated Deal with any goods returned and close all completed loads Calibration of company measuring equipment In-house product inspection Site inspections when required Conduct in house testing Inspect key accounts / projects to a higher levelMaintain control of companys master sample systemPrevious Experience & Key Skills Basic IT Skills (Word & Excel) The ability to communicate at all levels within the company The use of Lotus Notes and M/S Outlook To be able to produce written reports to include supplier performance, FTN, GIRN and DMN with both internal and external suppliers The ability to train others Must have a flexible approach to provide cover for other team members Ability to work within a team but also aloneReporting / Management Information Ensure all logged information is accurate and on timeEnsure internal KPIs are adhered toWorking conditionsMainly factory based however frequent use of office space is required alongside minimal field-based tasks.Physical requirementsSome heavy lifting however manual handling and equipment is provided. Safety footwear is required for the role alongside other PPE requirements within certain areas of the factory.Working Hours:Monday to Friday 8am - 4.30pm (3.30pm on a Friday) Occasional additional Hours ae expected.
