Credit Controller, £24,384, Wetherby, hybrid workingDue to internal promotion, we are recruiting for a company who are looking for a Credit Controller. Working within the agriculture sector you will be dealing with farmers, building relationships, and working with them to arrange payment.This is an exciting role to work for a fantastic company.Key Responsibilities: Responsible for the day-to-day management of your customer base Develop excellent relationships with your customers and other stakeholders To ensure the timely co-ordination of payments in relation to cash collection and aged debt reduction To be proactive in collections activities Providing solutions to assist customers with their cash flow Managing credit limits in-line with relevant authorisations To manage aging debt and escalate where required Working with internal colleagues to ensure actions are carried out in a timely manner To maintain customer records and notify the relevant department of changes required To ensure processes are followed as part of the collection requirementsSkills Required: Experience in Credit Management working in a busy environment or Customer Service To have a positive attitude and a Can Do mindset Strong customer service and commercial awareness To have excellent communication skills Planning and organisation skills Good knowledge of excelIn return you will be offered a competitive salary with a bonus scheme, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, 3 days home working, parking on site and the opportunity to work for a friendly well established business.
