Corporate LawyerModern, Flexible Non-Private Practice RoleTruly DifferentWest Yorkshire I am working with a fantastic West Yorkshire business who have really grown over the last couple of years and are looking for a Corporate Lawyer to join their expanding team.All the lawyers here have Big Law experience but wanted to be part of something different. The team is relaxed, friendly and flexible but at the same time professional. Advising SMEs and a range of other mid to large size businesses.Although the business advises across a variety of sectors they would be particularly interested in those with an IT/Tech slant. The focus is not on billable hours (spoiler alertthey dont have them!) but on providing the right comprehensive service to the client. With Lawyers, Accountants, and HR professionals across the wider business there is a collaborative approach to joiningup professional services and providing a full service to the clients with everyone pulling in the same direction.The firm are looking for a Corporate Lawyer ideally around 6years + PQE who is comfortable handling a caseload of general corporate transactions and capable of running a deal. Fit as much as PQE is important and those that get the idea of doing law differently to the traditional private practice way and are open to that, will be the right sort of lawyer that the business is looking for.Not only is the firm a genuinely friendly place to work there is a lot flexibility where you can work around other commitments you have. School run to do That can be discussed. Other needs that require flexibility outside of the 9-5 grindyou will find thathere. Work a hybrid model, a couple of days in the office the rest remote No problem. There are no old-fashioned hierarchies here, everyone is approachable, there are no pointless titles, or egosjust lawyers who want to work hard and have some fun along the way.
