We are passionate about delivering a high-quality service to our client base which includes individuals and businesses, from start-ups to well-establishedgroup practices.Were currently looking for an Accounts & Tax Semi Senior to join our team on a full-time basis.The Benefits- Salary of £18,000 - £23,000- 4% pension contribution- Private health insurance- Free parking- Holiday allowance (increasing by up to five days with time served)This is a great opportunity for an individual with some tax or accounts experience to learn, grow and succeed with our well-established firm.Fostering a positive, challenging and rewarding work environment, we have a strong focus on investing in our people and will support you to progress and develop professionally.The RoleAs an Accounts & Tax Semi Senior, you will be responsible for preparing Accounts and Tax Returns including personal, partnerships, sole traders and limited companies for review by senior team members.Reporting to the Accounts and Tax Manager, you will undertake financial accounts preparation and analysis from a range of different sources, prepare tax returns for analysis and review and assist with the calculation of adjusted profits.Additionally, you will:- Assist with other tax issues in respect of capital taxation and indirect tax matters- Review and analyse client data using the necessary software and industry-standard products- Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and schedulingAbout YouTo join us as an Accounts & Tax Semi Senior, you will need:- At least 18 months relevant accounts or tax experience within a relevant role- Systems experience in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Xero, Quick Books, Sage- Good IT skills- The ability to work to tight deadlines and manage changing priorities- The ability to work with minimum supervision, be proactive and take initiative- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detailKnowledge of digital tax and accounts production would be an advantage but is not essential.Other organisations may call this role Account Administrator, Accounts Clerk, Tax Assistant, Finance Administrator, Tax Semi Senior, Accounts Semi Senior, or Accounts Assistant.Webrecruit and Burton Sweet are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
