Service Lead Commissioning and Quality Assurance(Integrated Commissioning, Commissioning Unit)£45,859 pa or AfC band 7 equivalentFixed Term post for 12 monthsSecondments will be considered, please seek approval from your Line Manager before applyingWe welcome applicants from a social care and NHS background including nursing.An opportunity has arisen for the post of Service Lead Commissioning and Quality Assurance within the joint commissioning team on behalf of South Tyneside Council and Clinical Commissioning Group.The post involves working across health and social care to commission effective and quality assured services that improve outcomes for children, young people and adults. You will work collectively as part the commissioning unit with a specific focus on quality assurance and regulatory compliance. You will combine a strong understanding of commissioning processes with good knowledge of quality assurance and safeguarding working across childrens and adult services.The successful post holder will need to demonstrate an understanding of both the NHS and LA priorities in respect of commissioning services and providing quality assurance for the services we commission on behalf of the local population, and improving outcomes for people.
