Job Profile SummaryThe Offshore Wind ARC Analyst will be a seconded role from bp into the BP-ENBW joint venture. This team member will be a critical team member reporting to the JV Financial Controller (a bp secondee), with functional accountability tothe Head of Control, Low Carbon. The role has accountability for delivery of accounting, reporting and control activities of the JV. As directed by the JV Financial Controller. This individual will have responsibility for financial accounting and reportingrelated activities (internal and external) as well as supporting development and implementation of internal controls framework for the JVs. This role provides an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the financial reporting and control activities ofa major new UK offshore wind asset. Key Accountabilities:Accountable for delivery of end-to-end month / quarter end financial reporting for the JVSupport design and implementation of an effective and fit for purpose internal control environment for the JVSupport theJV Controller in ensuring compliance with applicable accounting policiesReview Actuals and follow-up on identified issues to resolution.Perform and where applicable, monitor operating efficiency of controls, identify, and optimally mitigate risks and gapsResponsiblefor timely and accurate statutory reporting for the assigned JVs and managing all external audit activitiesOperate cost control / reporting processesManage day to day banking activities for the JV and associated controls for cash and bankingWork effectivelywith wider JV finance and project teams, shareholder ARC representatives and other functional support teams in bp and EnBWSupport JV controller in manage delivery from outsourced finance service providersProvide support for tax and procurement aspects of theJV as requiredEssential Education:Bachelors Degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, technical discipline, or any other equivalent degree Qualified accountant (ICAEW, ICAS, CIMA or equivalent) Essential Experience and Job Requirements:Previous relevantfinancial reporting and internal control experienceSelf-starter, able to use initiative, drive solutions through uncertainty and ambiguityAbility to manage multiple/conflicting priorities with a track record of deliveryEntityFinanceJob Family GroupFinanceGroupRelocation availableNoTravel requiredNegligible travelCountryUnited KingdomAbout BPFINANCEJoin us in a crucial time of transition.
