You will form strong relationshipswith staff, residents and their families and your presence in the home will be pivotal to its success.Sanctuary Care has over 100 care homes and you can feel the difference a team makes the moment you step through one of our doors. The team at Park Lodge Care Home is special and were looking for a special person to lead by example. Become a part of itand apply for this role..Where youll workPark Lodge is a 7 bedded home for service users who have a learning and physical disability. It is set in a woodland area and is a small community home where service users are part of a family. The role involves some nursing duties and therefore a RegisteredNurse is required to lead this small team. Care Inspectorate have visited and have graded the home 5s for Care and Support. Ideal role for a first time manager with deputy experience.Many of our residents cannot communicate verbally, so having such a well-established team, with combined care and nursing expertise is vital to know our residents individual care and communication needs. Our snoozelyn room is a place for therapeutic indulgence,with fibre-optics, a water feature, tactile activities and soothing light projections. It is a place for both sensory stimulation and relaxation. Our team run Namaste sessions in this room which provides a multisensory programme of care developed specificallyfor our residents with dementia. We also have a sensory bath for our residents to enjoy, with special features including bubbles, safety candles and soothing lighting.You will have previous experience in a nursing setting. You will need to be RN qualified, with an up to date NMC pin number.A full, valid drivers licence is required and access to own vehicle is desirable.Are you our next Home Manager Heres more about the role:
