Job Description

Communications Officer, Research & Innovation, North Bristol NHS Trust – MATERNITY COVER 12 Months fixed term contractA fantastic opportunity covering Maternity has arisen for a Communications Officer to join the Trusts Research & Innovation teamYou will be joining us at a key time where Research has never been so important to the health and well-being of the nation.North Bristol NHS Trust has been at the forefront of the development and clinical trials of innovative Covid-19 treatments and vaccinesYou will be based in the modern Learning & Research building at Southmead Hospital.Supporting the Communications & Patient Involvement Manager we are looking for someone who has strong organisational skills, a creative flair and a passion for high quality communications across multiple channels.This is a role where no two days are the same.Your qualities:

  • You will need to have strong organisational skills.
  • You will need a minimum of three years of working within a communications role
  • A passion for digital communications
  • Have experience of planning and delivering internal and external communication events and be able to turn complex information into compelling content.
  • Experience of researching content and producing printed and on-line marketing materials.
  • Enjoy working as part of a team, but also using your own initiative.
  • You will have excellent influencing skills and be able to work with a wide range of colleagues both within the Trust and external stakeholders.
