Job Description

Job Title: Secondary Teaching AssistantLocation: Kirklees, United KingdomContract: Full-timeSalary: £80 - £100 per dayAre you passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact on the lives of students We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant to work within my secondary school in Kirklees. This is a fantastic opportunityto contribute to the learning experience of secondary school students and support their academic and personal development.Responsibilities:

  1. Classroom Support: Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons, providing support to individual students or small groups as needed.
  2. Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment by actively engaging with students, promoting participation, and encouraging a love for learning.
  3. Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources, ensuring that classrooms are organised and conducive to effective learning.
  4. Behaviour Management: Support the maintenance of a positive and respectful classroom environment by implementing appropriate behaviour management strategies.
  5. Individualised Support: Work with students who may require additional assistance due to learning difficulties, providing targeted support to help them achieve their academic goals.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is advantageous but not essential.
  • A passion for working with secondary school students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, flexibility, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A commitment to promoting an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
