Job Description

Job Title: Learning Disabilities Social WorkerLocation: Calderdale CouncilContract Type: Agency ContractHourly Rate: £35 per hourAbout Us:Calderdale Council is seeking a dedicated Learning Disabilities Social Worker to join our dynamic team. This agency position offers an attractive hourly rate of £35, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to the well-being of individuals with learningdisabilities in the Calderdale community.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments and develop person-centered care plans for individuals with learning disabilities.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for service users.Advocate for the rights and preferences of individuals with learning disabilities, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.Facilitate and participate in reviews, case conferences, and other team meetings.Provide guidance and support to families and caregivers, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.Maintain accurate and confidential case records in accordance with data protection regulations.Requirements:Qualified Social Worker with HCPC registration.Proven experience in working with individuals with learning disabilities.Thorough understanding of relevant legislation, including the Care Act 2014.Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.How to Apply:If you are a passionate Learning Disabilities Social Worker looking for a rewarding opportunity in Calderdale, we want to hear from you!
