Senior Server Engineer (Systems Administrator) - West Yorkshire / WFHto £47,000 plus bonus and great benefits.Leading professional services organisation requires a Senior Server Engineer to work closely with teams of developers, architects project managers and key stakeholders. As a senior systems engineer you will complete documentation of server builds, operatingparameters and support processes. This will include the installation and configuration of hardware and software solutions, identify improvements, plan, implement and test to maintain operational reliability, establish guidelines and procedures for installation,maintenance and management of the core infrastructureYou will have strong previous system administration experience working with appropriate infrastructure systems including MS Server 20122019, Active Directory, MS Exchange, VMware vSphere, MS SQL, Monitoring Tools, Security, GPO, DHCP, DNS, Updates, Patchingand SAN technologies (Netapp), previous experience of Office 365 implementation in particular Exchange online and administration of Azure Active Directory. Ideally you will possess M and VMware Qualifications, knowledge of Veeam backup and replication solutions(Zerto Replication and DR solutions is desirable) and have experience working with Co-located datacentre infrastructure including HP servers, Cisco and Brocade networking and a broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, application platforms and operatingsystems.You will work closely with the IT Operations Manager to plan and implement infrastructure product upgrades to avoid technology obsolescence and take advantage of the latest product features and capabilities, maintain the systems security posture to the requirementsand advise and implement change as needed, resolve technical queries regarding system architecture, perform complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis, provide system training and knowledge transfer to operational teams as required and maintain the systemdocumentation including technical architecture, configuration state, product licensing and operational processes and proceduresThis is a great opportunity to join one of the leading Professional Services organisations in Leeds City centre with a salary of upto £4,000 with some WFH optionsThis role is commutable from Barnsley, Leeds, Wakefield, Bradford, York, Selby, Harrogate, Halifax and HuddersfieldApply now
