Senior Backend DeveloperA Leeds-based digital agency with offices and clients around the globe is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join their team. With a team over 200 strong the agencys clients include some of the biggest brands around. In this role you will be working with the backend development team on developing websites and applications, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time and to budget.Senior Backend Developer - Responsibilities:*Have a deep understanding of primary backend technologies including PHP and MySQL*Help to define the coding standards within the team and ensure high standards are maintained throughout the agency*Help with costings of work with regards to the backend budget*Keep abreast of emerging Backend technologies which could be of use for the team*Share best practices, supporting the junior and mid-level developersSenior Backend Developer - Skills Required:*PHP, MySQL, Javascript*Understanding of PHP Frameworks (e.g. Laravel/Zend)*Experience with Wordpress, Magento, Shopify This is a great opportunity to have a real say in the overall approach to development for the agency, working on projects for some billion-dollar clients with colleagues around the world.
