Senior Business Manager – Grocery New businessHybrid - West Yorkshire Based OfficeSalary: £50,000-£60,000 + Package.The Advocate Group is excited to partner with a prominent FMCG company with a rich history dating back over 200 years. Headquartered internationally but with a UK hub based in West Yorkshire, this privately owned business is renowned for its entrepreneurialspirit and fast-paced environment.Role Overview:Joining a thriving FMCG company with significant success in the air care category, the Senior Business Manager will play a pivotal role in the next stage of the business. This opportunity involves securing new business with new customers, particularly inthe realm of supermarkets and discounters. With open doors and projects poised for advancement, the company is seeking an experienced Senior Business Manager with a self-starter attitude.What You’ll need

  • Ambitious and experienced SNAM with Grocery Multiples experience
  • Proven track record of securing new customers and new product listings (branded and own label)
  • Dynamic, persuasive, and a team player with a history of success
  • Commercially aware with a keen interest in market trends and competitor activities
  • Confident, motivated, and determined with strong networking and influencing skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Creative thinker with high attention to detail and exceptional communication skills
  • Ability to build outstanding customer relationships and collaborate effectively across different business functions.
Responsibilities:
  • Leading a confidential project ready for rollout
  • Pursuing opportunities for new own label listings
  • Engaging and leading relationships with targeted customers (supermarkets and discounters)
  • Securing product listings and managing accounts
  • Understanding the air care marketplace through regular store visits and market analysis
  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders to achieve sales targets.
