Job Description

Marks Sattin is working with a global organisation who are looking for a Risk Manager to help support the UK as well as parts of Europe.Working cross border, you will have an exciting chance to feed into the risk team, which is managing large-scale transformation work. Across Europe, the business has a strong first line in place with effective dashboards monitored on a regular basis; your rolewill be to ensure a standardisation of processes and procedures.Engaging with senior stakeholders and CEOs, you will be playing a key role in:

  • Managing an effective risk management frameworks with minimal supervision.
  • Provide a pragmatic opinion on the standard of risk management across the business and support the journey towards what "good looks like"
  • Ensure an understanding of the risk management framework and tools to identify, assess, manage and report their risks
  • To support and challenge the business by regularly assessing key processes and controls, providing robust and reliable opinions on their adequacy and effectiveness.
  • Have oversight of information used to monitor Key Risks.
  • Deputise for the Head of Risk and ensure support towards effective decision making by the executive board and risk committees.

The risk horizon is in an exciting period, this business is after someone who is ready to take the next challenge, and drive risk awareness at all levels.You will have knowledge of how regulatory, political, reputational and legal risk issues affects a complex financial services business.
