Our client is a market leading specialist manufacturer of assistive bathroom equipment for the disabled bather market with route to market involving close cooperation with Case Workers, Occupational Therapists, Local Authorities, Councils, Building Contractorsetc. They offer the widest range in the market of high-quality baths for bespoke assistive bathing requirements and enjoy a position of being a market leader in their niche industry.As part of their ongoing expansion, they are seeking a Regional Assessor for the North & Scotland, ideally based along the M62 area, but this isn’t set in stone.This role is of key importance to our client as the brand is targeted to deliver significant growth over the coming 3 years. As such, it is a demanding but also very rewarding opportunity for a driven, ambitious individual who wants to join a successfulgroup of people who are all passionate specialists within their field.Key duties:-Support and advise disabled bathers and their families, healthcare and housing professionals, with all aspects of domestic adapted bathroom provision. This includes project planning, implementation & delivery, through to installation and equipment training.Maximising bather well-being, safety and enjoyment through a thorough assessment process. Ensure assistive bathroom adaptations match individual requirements, whether for a paediatric client or adult, as well as considering the needs of carers and the widerhousehold.Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Specialist Nurses, Care and Social workers, and Case Managers, to ensure the correct specification of bathroom equipment. Advise on Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG) funding and charity funding application processesto support healthcare professionals and clients through this process. Provide pre-planning advice and guidance to Housing and Technical Officers, Adaptation Contractors and Architects and Specifiers.Regularly provide client home assessments, plus demonstrations for professionals, in purpose-built Assessment and Training Vehicles. Attending exhibitions at regional and national healthcare events throughout the year.In a typical week you can expect to be travelling for 3 days on average, the remainder being spent at home completing paperwork/admin.To apply:Applications are invited from candidates with a positive, can-do attitude and the kind of personality that will fit seamlessly into a tight-knit, team orientated environment.
