They are classed as a fast paced manufacturing and production company, who supply their products worldwide. If you area forward thinking, highly motivated engineer and would like to progress your career, my client would like to see your details.DescriptionAs the Process Engineer, you will be based at the Liversedge, West Yorkshire manufacturing site, reporting directly into the newly promoted, Process Engineering Leader. You will work as part of a small team of process improvement engineers who are responsiblefor providing technical expertise, solving production problems, and assisting new products into production. You work with production staff, including supervisors, operatives, and maintenance engineers to enable production flow is working smoothly and efficiently.Key Duties

  • Support all production operations to ensure products are delivered on time, in full, to required quality standards.
  • Provide detailed technical knowledge and understanding of key manufacturing processes.
  • Proactive in identifying and leading lean activities to improve process control and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Take ownership and action to resolve internal non-conformance by investigating root cause in conjunction with the production operations team.
  • Provide day to day, technical support to all production areas ensuring down time is reduced to company targets.
  • Check quality is maintained to high standards and documentation is provided to support all production areas.
  • Review customer specifications and act to develop processes and systems to remain compliant
  • Contribute to, promote, monitor and evaluate the continuous improvement process and change management programme throughout the site.
ProfileTo apply for the Process Engineer position, you will be a self-starting, problem solver with a can do attitude. You will also be capable of managing multiple projects and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • A degree or HNC within an engineering discipline (Maintenance, Mechanical, Chemical, Process).
  • Good knowledge of Lean manufacturing, any qualification would be advantageous.
  • A successful track record of new product introduction, process improvements or ability to learn.
  • Ability to identify solutions based on a mixture of analysis, experience, and judgement.
  • A history of managing multiple projects at the same time would be advantageous.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to communicate at all levels.
Job OfferIf successful you will be rewarded with an excellent, highly competitive salary, company bonus scheme, and pension. This position will be working days based, Monday to Friday with no travel required.
