Principal Consultant / Principal Architect / Principal Networking and SD WAN ConsultantRemote / WFH with UK travel when required (post-Covid) Up to £85k salary + Bonus + PerksCurrently hiring for a Principal Network Architect / Principal Networking and SD-WAN Consultant for an award-winning Technology solutions and consultancy provider.As the Principal Network Architect / Principal Networking and SD-WAN Consultant, you will be the SME on all things Networking, with a focus on the emerging SD-WAN technology, including Security of Networks and migration of customer Networks, Workloads, Data into Cloud!You will ideally be a Customer driven Principal Network Architect / Principal Networking and SD-WAN Consultant, ideally with the following experience:- Working on the technical Solutions design (HLD and LLD) of Networking (Networking Security), specifying solutions, hardware, budgets and services- C-level engagements and Blue-printing - Business outcome focused / Subject Matter Expert / Consultant level required - able to have senior / C-level conversations and NOT jump straight into Technical based conversations- Strong communicator, confident at Senior levels talking widely and deeply about Networking - eg. Routing and Switching, Security solutions including SD-WAN, enterprise level LAN / WAN and next generation Firewall technologies - Mid to enterprise engagements - High and Low Level Designs, leading Technical Designs and Delivery, and leading workshops / POCThe ideal Principal Networking Architect / Principal Networking and SD-WAN Consultant will have:- 5+ years experience of designing and delivering technical Networking and Security based solutions- Working for a multi-customer IT services organisation / MSP with a focus on Networking and the Security / Cloud solutions- Ability to hold high level customer led, business conversations with stakeholders and having a strong bigger picture influence with technical clout- Experience of successfully designing Networking solutions into Cloud (On-PREM to Cloud projects on Global site roll-outs)- Strong Network and Security background, SD-WAN, Routing & Switching, enterprise level LAN / WAN, next generation Firewall technologies, Identity and Cloud (Microsoft / MS Azure)- Managed Service provider experience and technical pre-sales- Ideally CCNA / CCNP level or qualified, a holder of ITIL V3 Foundation accreditedOn offer is a basic salary of up to £85,000 per year, perks and an additional 10% bonus attached.
