The Ashdown Group has been engaged by a successful multi-site organisation to assist in their search for an experienced 2nd line IT Support Engineer based close to LeedsThis is a large multi-site operation, with IT support provided from a centralised service hub. Working as part of an extended team this role will be based from home, covering sites in County Durham ,Yorkshire, Cumbria and Glasgow. You will be responsible for the onsite support of the IT systems infrastructure, desktop and application support.Primarily focused on Windows servers (Active Directory management), operating systems, infrastructure and applications working to the ITIL framework, you will monitor, manage and solve logged issues. Additional elements of the role will include, hardware builds, software installations, patch management and project work.To be suitable for this role you will have prior experience working as a multi-site environment providing both remote and field-based support. You will have excellent client-facing and communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines. A lot of your support will be proactive.Applicants will need to hold a full clean driving licence and be prepared to travel as and when necessary.The company is an excellent employer and will provide plenty of opportunity for career development.The salary isup to £27,000 plus on-call allowances and a company car. Other benefits include 25 days holiday and pension contribution.
