IT Procurement Officer£33,782 - £36,922 per annumOffering flexible and Hybrid working in West YorkshireWe are looking for a Procurement Officer with a passion for IT systems and hardware who is eager for an opportunity to work in a public sector organisation with 38 sites across Yorkshire and a main office in West Yorkshire. This organisation offers hybrid andflexible working, currently the procurement team are in the office 2 days a week, but this can be flexible depending on your week-by-week requirements. This team is growing and will continue to grow with opportunity for development, autonomy and mentorshipas required. As a key member of this team you will have significantscope for future development and will be instrumental in the ongoing success of the organisation and future development and progressive opportunities in turn.To apply for this position, you need to have;*Experience of completing a range of PCR 15 compliant procurement activities and drafting all associated tender/contract documentation to effectively manage commercial risks*Experience of drafting specifications, preparation and issue of tender documents, evaluation of proposals, contract award and administration*Experience of providing advice and support to key stakeholders on good practice in contracting and purchasing*Knowledge of current legislation within specific category areas and its impact on market management, finance and contractual arrangements*Robust knowledge of procurement metrics and systems with proven ability of setting, monitoring and achieving KPIs*Experience of procuring IT specific contracts including but not limited to the procurement of Hardware, Software, Networking and Cloud Services, Network solutions and MFDs OR a passion for IT that can be demonstrated through other qualifications, experience,hobbies or other.
