We are and continue to embed solution focused practice by adoptinga Signs of Safety model, working with key partners across the district within our work with families and we have a clear model of care for the children and young people we look after.We are looking to recruit friendly, dynamic and enthusiastic individualsto join our expanding Safeguarding and Reviewing Unit and we want to hear from you if you Have excellent innovation skills to join us on our journey to excellence Have the ability to work and contribute to a team Have a flexible approach when the need arisesThe role you would be coming to do:To provide independent monitoring and scrutiny of the care plans for children in care, ensuring appropriate and timely decision-making, the timely progression of plans and the provision of high quality care.To work with children,families, social workers and other partners to achieve the best outcomes for children in care, bringing challenge and support to the work of social workers, managers and partners as required to raise the standard of care planning for all children in care.Toquality assure and, when required, challenge the work of the Local Authority and other agencies to drive improvements in practice.The person we are looking for:We are looking for someone who has experience of chairing meetings and quality assuring the deliveryof services to Bradfords children in care. You need to ensure that the child/young persons voice is heard and is listened to within care planning. You need to be highly professional, offering high support and high challenge to the social work teams and partneragencies who provide services to children in care. You need to be highly organised.
