Job Description

Gluing OperatorDOEWest YorkshireShifts- 6:30am- 2:00pm Monday- Friday12:00pm- 8:00pm Monday- FridayA leading packaging company that produce carton based packaging for the food industry are now looking for the next member of their team due to recent growth!Responsibilities

  • Work in a safe manner meeting all health & safety standards
  • Ensure smooth running of the gluing machines producing high quality cartons
  • Make ready & run machines, following the company policies and procedures
  • Carry out quality checks at pre-determined levels throughout manufacturing
  • Must be able to work on own initiative as well as part of a tem
  • Ensure maintenance is completed and that all documentation is completed
  • Flexibility to operate different machinery with the correct training supplied
    • Essential requirements
  • Experience of these styles of carton Crash-lock / Double side wall / four corner / six corner
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work on complex projects offering technical solutions
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Flexibility to work additional hours when demand arises
    • Desirable requirements
  • Window patch experience
  • Nested tray experience
