Job Description

Communications Manager (MARCOMMS)- West Yorkshire c£38,500- £41,500Education / Not for Profit - ASAP StartClient DetailsA not for profit organisation at the heart of the communityDescriptionAs a Communications and Marketing Manager you will lead on all areas of MARCOMMS.You will lead and deliver on strategy, stakeholder relationships, brand management, media relations, digital engagement and internal as well as external communications.As a Communications and Marketing Leader you will.

  • Develop and implement the communication strategy across multiple channels
  • Develop strategies to build employee engagement, drive the brand and enhance the reputation of the organisation. Write engaging copy and communications on behalf of the leadership team
  • Manage all internal communications channels across stakeholders both internal and external of the organisation. Manage the planning and delivery of employer brand engagement.
  • Lead on the events, recruitment campaigns and drive reputation.
  • Write compelling content for a broad range of communication channels as well as key strategic documents/ publications.
  • Lead the planning and delivery of change management communications across strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Manage the coordination, production, and distribution of various publications, key bulletins, newsletters, and magazines
  • Develop content for the web
ProfileIdeal candidate
  • You will have a strong track record working as a communications and marketing specialist across both on-line and offline channels
  • You will have experience developing, executing, and measuring marketing campaigns
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and be able to advise on communications, events, engagement, and best practice
  • You will need to be a strong writer with attention to be able to produce compelling content for various publications.
Ideally you would have worked within education, not for profit, public sector, or an agency but this isnt essential.The role is more weighted to communications and is a stand-alone role where you can make a real impact dealing with senior leaders across multiple sites.
