Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit Change Project Managers in the West Yorkshire area. This role will be with a Public Sector organisation - Although some projects may be IT-enabled this would more suit candidates from a Change background. As such, if youwork in project support and are genuinely ready to take the leap into a project manager role, or if you are a project manager who is used to managing multiple projects at once with no formal qualificationsClient DetailsWe are looking to recruit Change Project Managers for Public Sector organisations in West Yorkshire.DescriptionAs a Business Change Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and implementing strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of public services. Working closely with stakeholders at all levels, you will lead changemanagement efforts, drive process improvements, and ensure successful project delivery.

  • End-to-end project management of business change initiatives within the public sector.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful project execution.
  • Implement change management strategies to drive adoption and minimise resistance to organisational changes.
  • Conduct thorough impact assessments and risk analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Foster collaboration and communication across departments to achieve project goals.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in business change management.
Profile
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar in business change initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Project delivery.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Prince2, PMP, or APM certification is desirable but not absolutely necessary.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
