Client DetailsPage Personnel are recruiting an Assistant Accountant for a market leading organisation based in Halifax with full ACCA/CIMA/AAT study support. The business are going through a period of continued growth. DescriptionAs an Assistant Accountant, you will be reporting in to a qualified management accountant responsible for assisting with the production of the monthly management accounts pack.Duties will include, however are not limited to, balance sheet reconciliations, posting accruals and prepayments, assisting with the submission of VAR returns, management of the fixed asset register and calculating depreciation, bank reconciliations, sales invoicing and posting inter-company purchase invoices.This is a unrivalled opportunity for a bright accounts assistant or assistant accountant looking for a month end role relevant to studies in a stable, growing organisation.ProfileThe successful candidate will:Have worked in a relevant accounts role previouslyHave strong verbal and written communication skillsHave strong Excel skillsBe studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA - desirableJob Offer£22,000 - £25,000 + full AAT/ACCA/CIMA study support + 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) + free on site parking + pension scheme + cycle to work scheme
