Job Description

Our Healthcare client are seeking to appoint a driven and motivated individual to deliver their ambitious international, partnership and new services recruitment activity as a Senior Recruitment Officer (Projects).Senior Recruitment Officer (Projects)Location: Home working, however you may be required to go into the office in Thurrock on an ad-hoc basisTemporary: Expected to last 3 months with the potential to go on for longer depending on the length of the programmeHours per week: 37.5 hours per week across Monday - FridayHourly pay Rate: £16.50 per hour PAYE holiday Inclusive or £19.50 per hour umbrellaDuties will consist of:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the recruitment projects function to ensure a comprehensive HR administration support service.
  • Support the International Recruitment Project Manager with recruitment projects and initiatives.
  • To design and develop the international recruitment and projects workforce data
  • Take specific lead responsibility for lines of work
  • Required to work autonomously and to agreed outcomes at defined intervals.
  • Provide complex advice and support to prospective candidates, staff and Managers on all areas of the international recruitment process and allied documentation.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of any new recruitment initiatives, or changes to current
  • Processes and providing the appropriate support and guidance to team members and managers within the Trust
  • Required to attend meetings on behalf of the international recruitment project manager as and when required
  • Provide support and advice to managers on their international and project recruitment needs.
  • Co-ordinate and arrange recruitment related events and presentations on behalf of the Trust.
  • Act as an Authorised Signatory for Disclosure and Barring applications and Sponsorship Licences.
  • Advise Managers within the Trust on the recruitment and selection procedures in accordance with employment legislation, Terms and Conditions, Trust Policy and Procedure and best practice, equal opportunities, advertising etc.
  • To seek, at all times, to be effective and efficient and to enhance the quality of the service which the HR Directorate gives to all its customers, thereby assisting them to provide a high-quality service to patients and clients.
  • Skills:
  • Knowledge of employment law and best practice relating to retention/recruitment and equality/diversity
  • Knowledge of retention/recruitment processes/issues
  • Previous NHS experience (Desirable)
  • You will be required to demonstrate flexibility, positivity and a can do’ attitude and have strong previous recruitment experience.
  • You will require experience of working in a large complex organisation.
  • You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to challenge and influence a range of stakeholders, whilst creating and maintaining excellent working relationships with staff, managers, and prospective candidates.
  • You will have a strong customer service approach as well as forward thinking, innovative, solution focused and resilient.
  • You will be confident at working autonomously using your own initiative and prioritising whilst recognising the value and importance of collaborative working and being a good team player.
  • To successfully commence employment as a Senior Recruitment Officer, you will be required to:
  • Register with Your World Healthcare and become fully compliant prior to commencing employment.
  • Apply for a valid in date DBS if you not yet hold a current DBS on the update service OR an enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months (this can be applied for as part of your application via Your World Healthcare)
  • Provide professional employment/educational references covering the last 3 years.
