Job Description

Our Healthcare client are seeking to appoint a International Recruitment Project Manager to join their team.International Recruitment Project ManagerOur NHS client has an exciting opportunity within the International Recruitment team. You will participate in the selection, recruitment and retention of nursing staff and will develop the on-boarding and local induction process. You will be the main point of contact for the nurses before they join our teams and will play a key role in helping them to settle into life in the UK and at the Trust.You will have previous experience of successfully delivering programmes of work or projects involving multiple stakeholders and will understand the legislative and regulatory requirements of international recruitment.Location: Home working, however you may be required to go into the office in Thurrock on an ad-hoc basisTemporary: Expected to last 3 months potential to go on for longer depending on the length of the programmeHours per week: 37.5 hours per week across Monday - FridaySalary: £20.00 per hour PAYE holiday Inclusive or £25.00 per hour UmbrellaDuties will consist of:

  • Work in partnership with Clinical Leads in the selection, recruitment, and retention of nursing staff
  • Develop the Trust on-boarding, local induction process for all international nurses
  • Take responsibility for pastoral care, travel and accommodation
  • Contribute to the development of the attraction of nurses to the Trust including the maintenance of vacancy advertisements and identify and develop opportunities for advertising on social media and external publications to attract international nurses
  • Lead on short-listing for international nurse recruitment using the Trust recruitment system
  • Work closely with the workforce development team for nurse education leadership, advice and support in line with the Nurse Education and Nursing Strategies and the most up to date evidence and research
  • Liaise with external agencies in sourcing accommodation for all international nurses
  • Ensure the delivery of OSCE training to all international nurses and ensuring that the Trust have a100% pass rate
  • To support the pilot for English Language (EL) programmes with both the British Council (IELTS) and OET (OET test) to boost OSCE-ready candidates in key target countries, led by Health Education England (HEE)
  • Regularly report to the Director of Nursing on the Widening Access to support the provision of pre-registration preparation education and training for the Trust
  • Work in partnership with others in supporting training and development programmes across the Trust for international nurses
  • Evaluate research and audit data, with a view to influencing excellence in nurse recruitment
  • Support the development opportunities for role advancement for nurses in conjunction with the Director of Nursing, Therapies & Quality and Head of Practice Education and Widening Access
  • Working closely with the Director of Nursing, to ensure ongoing OSCE capacity.
  • Managing the recruitment team
  • Skills:
  • Experience of international recruitment and selection processes, particularly for nursing
  • Experience of working in a role providing advice in a public sector organisation or large-scale multi-site private sector employer.
  • Demonstrates experience of working with operational colleagues.
  • Experience of providing advice to stakeholders/managers at a senior level
  • Experience of taking lead in short life projects, working in collaboration with managers and stakeholders.
  • To successfully commence employment as an International Recruitment Projects Manager you will be required to:
  • Register with Your World Healthcare and become fully compliant prior to commencing employment.
  • Apply for a valid in date DBS if you not yet hold a current DBS on the update service OR an enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months (this can be applied for as part of your application via Your World Healthcare)
