Job Description

Our client is a hazardous waste and services provider. Their management team has over 40 years experience and bring a wealth of knowledge and legislative understanding in what is a highly regulated controlled industry whilst always maintaining the fundamentalcore values which form their business. They have a proven track record of consistently delivering exemplary levels of customer service and quality workmanship, supported and delivered by a highly experienced management structure.They are now looking for an Admin Assistant Apprentice to join their busy team in Thurrock!Salary: National Minimum wageAdmin Assistant ApprenticeDuties:

  • Provide day-to-day administration duties including involvement with Company strategy, finance and planning.
  • Keep all appropriate registers and records up to date.
  • Collate Work Package Plans and other site documentations as required for works undertaken by the Company.
  • Monitoring expenditure on all current and previous contracts, analysing summary information and profit margins.
  • General office duties such as scanning, filing and laminating
  • Answering telephones and responding to mail
  • Collate and assist in the preparation of site files to ensure all required documentation and forms are available to the operatives.
  • Liaise with other Managers and make recommendations for improvement to the Safety, Quality and Environmental Management Systems,
  • To develop and manage a staff database, which ensures that all staff receive the necessary safety critical and technical training and are medically fit to carry out works both safely and with a level of competence required
  • To maintain the supplier / subcontractor approved list,
  • To manage a database, which ensures that no staff exceeds the laid down guidelines in respect of excess hours.
  • Placing orders with suppliers
  • Assist the Operations director with daily duties
