Job Description

The Company:A family run business that has been at the heart of distribution for a number of well known housewares, SDA and garden brands for many years.The Role:

They are now adding to the team with an experienced Sales Representative to cover the North/Midlands.
You will be responsible for managing and developing business with a range of independents and buying groups, cookshops, hardware stores, garden centres, Euronics and AIS stores, as well as smaller department stores across the North/Midlands.

The Person:

You will be structured, organised, engaging and tenacious.
You will enjoy travelling and meeting with your customers on a daily basis and working closely with them to gain great sales figures for both them and the company you work for.
You will gain excellent knowledge of your target customers, existing competitors in the marketplace and industry trends that may impact a buying decision.
It is essential you are IT literate as there are many tools and analytics at your fingertips to make your role easier.
You will currently be selling a non-food product to independent retailers across the North/Midlands and be able to demonstrate success in your current role.
It is essential that the successful person understands the intricacies of working with independent retailers and buying groups.
Experience of the housewares, SDA and or garden sectors would be a huge advantage but not essential.

Salary:

£35,000 Basic + Bonus + Car Allowance + Benefits
