Job Description

Are you a HR Manager looking to broaden your experience and take on a more autonomous role Reed is excited to be working with an established, national, residential care entity who are looking for a Regional HR Manager to work field based across the Midlands. You will be required to provide high quality ER / HR support, guidance, mentoring andadvice to operational leaders in a focused way.Salary: £40,000 - £46,000 per annum + company car.Benefits: 25 days annual leave, 4 weeks full & 4 weeks half sick pay, 5% company contribution pension scheme, 2 x annual salary life assurance, single PMI and a discretionary 5% bonus scheme.Working hours: 3 - 4 days onsite, 1-2 days at home with flexible working hours.Location: MidlandsResponsibilities:

  • Attend and support at operational sites within your geographical area to ensure the provision of support, coaching, guidance, and advice on all HR issues are in line with the organisational and HR Strategy.
  • Coach and support, Managers in the interpretation and application of HR policies and practices.
  • Work independently as the advisor in your area of responsibility in collaboration with operational leads.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and updating of HR policies and procedures in line with current employment legislation and drive their implementation within your geographical area.
  • Encourage and challenge the adoption of best practice, mitigating business risk.
  • Ensure advice provided is aimed at supporting Company objectives and culture and highlight any areas of concern to the Area Director and HR Business Partner.
  • Review HR and organisational MI and assist in the development of people plans per home/area, as needed. Encourage the actioning of such plans across your area of responsibility, regularly evaluating and updating as required.
  • Support Managers in the development of effective succession planning activities i.e. proactively challenge lack of reviews.
  • To support managers and be the HR Lead on change processes, such as redundancies and TUPE
  • Lead contact for suspensions and escalating delays to HRBP
  • Lead on any complex cases escalated by shared services, up to and including end to end management of EC’s and ET’s.
  • Coach, support, and guide Home Managers within our focus homes on all aspects of HR.
  • Management of the company whistleblowing procedure, from disclosure to resolution in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Shared Service Department to assist in the resolution of HR queries, where required.
  • Complete HR inductions for Home Managers.
  • Conduct exit interviews for senior roles.
  • Involved in the development and delivery of training workshops to upskill line managers.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a Senior HR Advisor or HR Manager role providing support and coaching on all HR matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and restructures etc.
  • Able to successfully, competently and confidently influence key stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen
  • Experience of change management including TUPE
  • Ability to manage and prioritise a high and complex workload with good time management, planning and organisation skills; able to challenge process and seek out better ways of working
  • Evidence of CPD
  • CIPD Qualified to Level 5
  • Full driving licence
