Job Description

PLC Programmer / Electrical EngineerRemote working, covering the north of England.£35000 to £45000 DOEA fantastic role for a PLC engineer, with an exceptional benefits package that includes very flexible working.Duties of the PLCprogrammer

  • Supporting manufacturing automation and controls, you will be creating the PLC programs for bespoke panels all to be used in a manufacturing setting.
  • You will be creating some programs form scratch, but also modifying and building on past work to meet project deadlines as quickly as possible.
  • You will also be provide remote support to previous clients, helping iron out problems in the systems as you go.
  • You will be going onto clients sites to commission and set up the final parts for each project
The benefits
  • You will be based from home 75% of your time, working the hours that suit you to get the projects done. (It excepted to about a 40 hour week)
  • You will be fully expenses and accommodated when you go on client site and will have a good 12 week lead on when you will be away form home.

The requirements
  • Likely to be qualified in electrical engineering or similar.
  • PLC programming experience
  • Able to be client facing within a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of enigneering and manufacturing process and how PLC programming applies.
  • Ability to provide technical support.
