FREELANCE Functional Skills Teacher - West Midlands (Regional Role) - £200.00 paid per successful completion of qualificationThe Role: Functional Skills Teacher• Our client is looking for an experienced and professional Functional skills English and Maths Teacher to join their team. Due to continued growth and success, they are looking to add further Functional Skills Teachers to an already successful team, especially in the West Midlands and the surrounding areas.• To prepare and review session plans, schemes of work and teaching/learning materials. Plan and deliver engaging and exciting learner-centric training sessions to inspire and motivate learners in the classroom, workplace environment and on-line, depending on employer requirements.• You will be required to support the BIT / CI Trainers to enable them to support the delivery of basic skills to meet each of their apprentices needs.• You will be required to be flexible to travel to workplace sessions, to deliver planned Functional Skills sessions to individuals and groups in line with operational needs.• A DBS check prior to commencement of role is required.Essential Requirements: Functional Skills Teacher• Relevant Functional Skills English and Maths experience as appropriate for area of delivery. With a minimum of 1 years classroom teaching experience • Teaching qualification ie Cert Ed , CTLLS, DTLLS• Level 3 English and/or Maths with at least Level 2* in the second subject area. (*CPD to L3 in second subject will be required).
