Business Development Manager£40,000 - £45,000, Company Car, Bonus, Laptop and PhoneIndustrial FastenersMy client manufacture and distribute industrial fasteners to a wide range of industry sectors including Energy, Petrochemical and Rail. They are looking for a Business Development Manager ro join them and take full ownership of the sales function. They hope this person will be their Sales Director in 2-3 years’ time.Whilst holding a strong market position, they have identified significant growth opportunities by broadening their client base. There is a clear and definitive plan in place to do this, they need a pro-active Business Development Manager with industry experience to help them deliver their objectives. Along with developing relationships with both new and existing customers, this role will also involve the managing and development of two internal salespeople. Both are very capable and look forward to new, dedicated leadership.Aside from the opportunity to develop into a Sales Director, this role also offers the rare opportunity to work with a manufacturer in the sector. They are an important supplier to a variety of merchants and distributors across the country whilst also operating with the end-user market.
