Job Description

Business Development/Account ManagerJob Title: Business Development/ Account ManagerSalary: £30,000 – 40,000k PA (OTE £55,000PA)Location: Field Based – MidlandsSector / Industry: Chemical Job Reference: LM0611MIm currently recruiting for an opportunity for someone experienced in business development and account management from the chemical industry to join a growing business. The company are already market leaders however are looking to expand even further into some different territories. You will be tasked with maintaining and developing their existing clients and then lead generation of business from other sectors.The main purpose of the role will be to account manage existing contracts for the business and add to these accounts from business development. The role will involve selling into the manufacturing and construction industry..Package Details:

  • £30,000 - £40,000
  • Company car (hybrid vehicle) or car allowance, phone and laptop
  • Private healthcare
  • Bonus paid monthly
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Attending appointments to discuss the products and services the company can offer to clients
  • Putting together proposals based on customers’ specs
  • Self-generate appointments with new clients
  • Account manage existing clients and upsell products where necessary
  • Providing technical advice on the product range
  • Required Skills & Experience:
  • Experience in a sales focused role within the chemical industry
  • Experience of working to a consultative sales approach
  • Technical knowledge of chemical products – a relevant degree therefore would be beneficial
