A leading Retail business is looking to recruit a Supply Chain Planning Manager to lead a team that oversee the movement of goods from suppliers, through the distribution network and in to stores. With a mix of home working and time in the office, you and your team will be responsible for ensuring optimum product availability and thus maximising sales. This is an exciting and challenging position, and the job holder will continue to be challenged with an evolving role as the business continues grow and diversify.About the role:Managing a team of Supply Chain Planners, working closely with other stakeholders in the business such as Buying, Space Planning and Logistics, you will manage the planning and forecasting of stock inventory levels via the analysis of historical sales data, taking into account seasonality and promotional plans. You will also manage the open to buy process to ensure stock levels are maintained at their optimum levels and you will work closely with the supply base, monitoring their performance and maintaining a collaborative way of working.About the person:To be considered for this challenging yet rewarding position, you will have experience of working in a Retail Supply Chain environment where you will be an inspirational manager, with the ability to lead and motivate a team of emerging talent.
