Trident healthcare Solutions are Hiring Staff Nurse and Theatre nurses (BAND 5 / 6 - ODP - SFA - Theatre RGN)RGN duties and Responsibilities

observe and assess patients
effect comprehensive nursing care plans for patients
administer treatments and medications
monitor and report symptoms and changes in patient status
collaborate with medical team on patient status
maintain complete and accurate patient records
prepare patients and assist with patient examinations and therapies
assist with diagnostic tests and interpret results
modify treatment plans where indicated advise patients on health maintenance and preventative medicine provide educational, emotional and psychological support to patients and family members
maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations
adhere to infection-control protocols
follow medication administration and storage procedures and regulations
monitor and coordinate maintenance of equipment operation and inventory
check and maintain nursing supplies inventory
educate and instruct patients on home care needs

ODPs duties and responsibilities

Checking the anaesthetic machine and troubleshooting problems
Getting the anaesthetic room ready - including preparation of a range of airway equipment, equipment for cannulation, preparation of equipment used for drug administration
Greeting the patient and ensuring they are comfortable and all details are correct
Participating in the WHO Check list
Applying basic monitoring and assisting with application of more advanced monitoring
Airway management
Assisting with administration of anaesthetic
Assisting with safe positioning of the patient
Liaising with other departments and other theatre teams
Communicating with the anaesthetist and all other members of the perioperative team
