We are looking for a Solicitor/Barrister to join our busy and supportive team dealing with children safeguarding.The postholder will provide legal advice and advocacy to support the child protection function and in applications under the Children Act 1989 and Adoption and Children Act 2002. Caseworker support will also be available.Requirements:Qualified Solicitor/Barrister Authorised to Practise with possession of current practising certificate which is free of conditions.3 years’ experience of practical legal work is required, including 2 years’ experience of child protection, together with the ability to work with minimal supervisionHours37 hours per weekThe council operates hybrid working.
