Job Description

This iconic brand is seeking a Senior Procurement Analyst to identify and develop procurement controls and measurements for a varied, very large and complex spend portfolioThis role is working for one of the UKs most iconic brands and requires a Senior Procurement Analyst to manage a small team in their pursuit of defining and developing the controls, measures, and reports to ensure the organisation delivers operational andstrategic short, medium, and long-term objectives. The role will be pivotal in identifying savings across a diverse and high spend supplier base. The role is on site 3 days a week in the Midlands (two from home).You will have:

  • Previous Procurement / Finance / Analyst experience from a complex environment.
  • Management experience.
  • An understanding of the strategic role of a Procurement function and how good analytics can help.
  • Knowledge in running KPIs and measuring supplier performance.
  • The ability to turn good analytics in to easily presentable documents to present to C-Level stakeholders.
  • A high level of computer literacy, specifically in use of Excel to manage and manipulate large volumes of data from multiple sources. Ability to automate and link charts, run pivot tables, and develop advanced nested functions is essential. Knowledge ofMacros would be an advantage.
