Job Description

Were currently partnering with a high profile private sector organisation in their search for an Interim Change Manager, to play a critical role in a major transformation programme. This will be an initial 3 month contract, with a view to extending beyond that and can be based remotely for the initial duration of the contract.In this role, you will be required to:

  • Consult on people change management across each transformation initiative, using knowledge of change management approaches to ensure the change is embedded and benefits are realised
  • Monitor business stability based on the on-going capacity to cope with the level of change and any possible change collision, highlighting and mitigating risk where possible.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on people change management, providing expertise and advice where required
  • Understand, interpret and communicate stakeholder requirements, whilst maintaining strategic networks and relationships
  • Focus on realising beneficial change
  • Be an advocate of people change during daily routine, challenging and influencing decisions and behaviours where needed
  • Monitor performance against our to-be’ organisation culture, and provide timely reporting to key stakeholders
  • Have a vested interest in the success of the People Team, supporting with engagement and alignment of initiatives
  • Our client is ideally looking for somebody with the following experience:
  • Substantial experience of supporting IT driven business change
  • Proven track record of delivering cultural change
  • Recognised Change Management qualification (e.g. Prosci, APMG, ACM)
  • Experience of working with/qualification in LEAN, Continuous Improvement or Six Sigma
  • Ability to lead and influence stakeholders at all levels to define and implement organisational wide change
  • In depth knowledge of change management approaches, and the ability to flex these to best suit the team, to ensure embedding and adoption of the change and realisation of benefits
  • Understanding of Waterfall and Agile project delivery methods
  • Knowledge of organisation design methods and best practice
  • Experience of managing change in ambiguous environments
  • A passion for sharing knowledge; driving desired behaviours through a coaching mentality
  • Excellent communication skills; with the ability to translate messages and information for many differing audience needs
  • Role model great leadership behaviours
  • Ability to see the bigger picture and engage stakeholders with your thinking to influence approach and decision making
  • Ability to self motivate and constantly challenge and improve ways of working
