Job Description

Financial Planning & Analysis AnalystWest Midlands - Home Based£38,894 per annumContract Type: PermanentPosition Type: Full TimeAre you someone who likes getting things doneAn exciting opportunity has come about for an experienced finance professional to support with the delivery of a robust "live" Long Term Financial Plan ("LTFP") and to support with the strategic decision making to the organisation.The FP&A Analyst will support the Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and the wider finance team to solve problems, perform strong financial modelling and provide insights to support and challenge decision making.This role will be key to ensure the LTFP is consciously updated to reflect the latest financial position that includes analysis of SOCI, SOFP and Cashflow for each company in the group whilst remaining robust, compliant with the group’s external covenants.This is a highly analytical finance role, suitable to someone who has strong experience in managing data and innovative to make recommendations in relation to improving the Financial Planning and Analysis service for the Group.They want somebody who is

  • A qualified Accountant with at least 2-3 years’ post completion experience
  • Experienced in developing complex and bespoke financial models
  • Highly analytical with a passion for data
  • Experienced in the use of BRIXX or any equivalent long term financial appraisal software
  • Experienced in interpreting information, carrying out research, analysing complex data, appraising performance, and managing risk.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Able to prioritise and plan effectively, being able to manage multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines
  • A confident communicator with the skills to deal with external stakeholders, colleagues, Executive and Board members.
