Business Client AdvisorGlasgowTop 25 firmHybrid working & Hot-desking opportunities are availableA well-known, Top 25 leading Chartered Accountancy firm islooking to expand its Business Advisoryteamin Glasgow ona full-time or part-time basis. This is an exciting time to join this accountancy firm as they are in a great period of growth and are expanding allteams across their Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Belfast offices.The RoleAs a Business Services Advisor, you will be joining the Business Advisory team and working alongside very experienced accountants and will be a Business Services Advisor.This firm works with a wide variety of clients ranging from small limited companiesto rapid growingSMEs in Scotland.You will undertake a broad role across the accounting function to ensure that the delivery of client commitments is met.As a Business Services Advisor, your role will include:

  • Prepare accounts forlimited companies, partnerships and sole traders using various accounting software programmes, including cloud packages
  • Review and submission of VAT returns
  • To work as part of a team servicing a broad-ranging portfolio of accounting clients
  • Providing systems advice to clients, evolving into systems conversion, implementation, setup & training.
  • Liaising with clientsmeeting targets and meeting deadlines toensurea high level of client service is delivered.
  • Identifying issues and taking a proactive approach to reach solutions.
  • Mentoring the junior members of the team and supporting the managers in achieving department targets.
On Offer:The full-time salary will be up to £30,000 P.A(depending on experience and qualification). If Part-Qualified, thisfirm is willing to provide study supportand offer hybrid working with 2-3 days in the office. This firm also offers hot desking from otheroffices too.Requirements:
  • You must have 2.5-year minimum experience working in a similar Accountsrole within a firm
  • Experience in preparing accounts to review stage
  • Experience in using cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage, IRIS or Quickbooks
  • Must have excellent communication skills
  • Must be comfortable liaising with client personnel
  • Must be able to meet relevant deadlines
  • Must be able to prioritise work and work to tight deadlines
