Job Description

Are you a highly skilled, flexible and dynamic Sheltered Housing Services Co-ordinatorlooking to work for a reputable Housing Association based in West London Adecco Housing Local Government Client is seeking an experienced Sheltered Housing Services Co-ordinator on a permanent basis.INTERVIEWS ASAP - SALARY £26,000-£28,000 (Depending on Experience)FULL TIME Site based Role All in the Hammersmith and Fulham area (NO HYBRID WORKING)The co-ordinator will be based at the Sheltered Housing Schemes for older people, supporting the delivery of an enhanced housing management service to meet the complex and varied needs of residents living in our three sheltered housing schemes. This will include allaspects of tenancy management and letting any empty properties at the schemes.A supported housing or care background is desirable.This role we will be the first point of face to face contact for residents with queries and concerns, and will include making regular welfare calls. The role will also co-ordinate the management of tenancy issues including signposting to partner agenciesto deliver successful outcomes for the customers. The co-ordinator will also be responsible for arranging social and resident engagement events.The post holder will be responsible for supporting the effective maintenance and security of the sheltered schemes as well as reporting and monitoring repairs and the general maintenance of the buildings.Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting with the delivery of a high quality, on site, enhanced housing management service to our sheltered housing residents including all aspects of property and tenancy management across all 3 schemes.
  • Liaising with the local authority to obtain suitable nominations for vacant properties and co-ordinating property viewings and tenancy sign-ups with new residents.
  • Carrying out welfare calls as per the customers requirements
  • Reporting of any Fire Risk Assessment Actions and other maintenance issues
  • Supporting the monitoring of KPIs associated with our sheltered schemes including re-lets, arrears and customer satisfaction
  • Working with external agencies and organisations to ensure our sheltered residents access any support needed.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Experience of providing excellent services in a customer focused organisation
  • Working with older people, or vulnerable groups, in a regulated environment
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of property maintenance, including the ability to identify and raise repairs
  • Able to work on site at any of the 3 Sheltered schemes or in the office
  • Knowledge and understanding of health and safety issues
  • Ability to communicate brilliantly with residents - were looking for warmth, empathy and clarity
  • A good level of IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Teams and experience of working with systems to ensure excellent record keeping
