Job Description

Lead SEN Teacher | West London | Alternative Provision | KS3 to KS4 | April Start | Permanent Job RoleLead SEN Teacher required for permanent opportunity to start in April at an alternative provision in West London.We are looking for an experienced classroom practitioner who can lead on the curriculum and teaching within small classes of students. The provision caters for students with behavioural and emotional difficulties.

  • Take a lead in designing and delivering a curriculum across KS2-KS4
  • Take charge of a team of teaching assistants
  • Developing and maintaining schemes of work across subjects
  • Pastoral responsibilities for students with severe barriers to learning
Applicants should be experienced teaching students with behavioural difficulties within a mainstream school, special school, PRU or alternative provision. SEN Teachers should also have in depth knowledge around curriculum development and strategies for SENin the secondary phase.Benefits of the role include:
