Are you comfortable working with data and have advanced Excel skillsDo you have an interest in behavioural data, AI and Machine Learning Our small global start-up is looking for a Junior Data Analyst to join them About the clientOur client is a global leader in e-commerce and websites behavioural data, using machine learning and AI to enable businesses to increase conversion rates and revenue, collect more leads, and retarget visitors with personalized recommendations during and afterthe shopping experience. To put it simply, they help clients optimise their site performance, whether that’s reducing bounce rates, increasing conversion rates, reducing cart abandonment, increasing email collections, increasing net revenues and AOVs etc. To do this they analyse thesite to identify users who have a low propensity to convert and target them in real-time with a message to try and incentivise them to convert (or to do whatever the aim is e.g. leave their email address or simply to stay on the site and not leave). The Role / The Opportunity / The Day to day dutiesThis vacancy will start off on a 6-month internship with the potential to move into a permanent job. You will join the Customer Success team to help with data analysis and reporting.Data analysis - prior to clients going live with us we actively undertake a full site audit to determine where we can be most useful. We aim to optimise site performance, so we analyse user journeys, choke points, device performance, user type performance, etc., to determine which strategies we should implement.Reporting - our clients require weekly/monthly/quarterly reports detailing both site and performance. Our insights platform houses all of the data; however, advanced Excel skills will be needed to pull bespoke reports, which need to be presented in ppt.Campaign set-up and management - this is very much linked to the data analysis and reporting; the site audit determines which strategies we recommend to a client so it is important to understand how they are set-up and run. Once a campaign is underway we keepa close eye on performance and provide optimisation recommendations. All campaign management and data insights are housed in our propriety tech, so training will be provided.A typical day could be a combination of all three, just two, or just the one. It very much depends on the day of the week (e.g. Mondays are quite full with weekly report deadlines), and the time of the month (e.g. at the beginning of the month client’s requirea monthly report for the previous month, so the first few days will be full with reporting). What we are looking for
