Job Description

WR Fundraising Recruitment are looking for a Head of Fundraising to take on an exciting new position with a national charity dedicated to protecting and preserving our parks and green spaces. Leading a small team, and with a particular focus on developing new partnerships, this role is ideal for anyone currently leading a department, or in a current post as a fundraising manager.You will have a solid background in income generation and relationship building, be persuasive, and passionate about the importance of the charity?s work. This is a great opportunity for anyone looking to take on a Head of level position where they can have a real impact, build a great case for support, and really influence the future of this important organisation.Head of Fundraising & Partnerships Full Time Permanent (37 Hours Per Week) London (West)£45,000 - £50,000 p.a. dependent on skills and experience Key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Shape and deliver the fundraising strategy, in line with organisational objectives and budgets
  • Drive forward the development of major donor relationships and corporate partnerships
  • Work collaboratively to identify prospects and convert them into effective partnerships
  • Identify new fundraising opportunities across a range of income streams
  • Create stewardship plans for supporters to drive engagement and collaborate on overall communications strategies, including content creation for on and offline channels
  • Line manage a small team working across trusts, foundations, and supporter care
  • Representing the charity to external audiences, engaging with potential and existing supporters, HNWI, and major donors
  • Support the overall evaluation strategy, developing reports on fundraising income and impact
    • The ideal candidate for this role will:
  • Have demonstrable experience of fundraising and management, with the ability to work across a multi-disciplinary team
  • Have proven experience in developing and stewardship of corporate partnerships
  • Have a track record in achieving fundraising targets and securing donations from a range of sources, including individuals, corporates, legacies, and trusts
  • Be a strong and versatile communicator, able to engage and inspire a range of audiences
  • Have a collaborative approach, able to line manage a team, and lead by example
  • Be flexible and adaptable, able to support the wider team when needed
  • Be highly organised and able to manage time through effective planning
