Job Description

CompanyThis is a globally recognised media & music entertainment business based in west London. Working with a wide portfolio of top artists and distributors, they are a leader in their market.Due to recent growth, they are looking to hire a recent and talented Graduate Accountant to join their high-performing finance department.RoleThe Graduate Accountant for this multinational music entertainment business based in west London, will support the wider department in monthly accounting and forecasting cycles. They will take on a number of key duties including:

  • Prepare monthly accounting packs including commentary of actuals vs forecast
  • Preparation and analysis of monthly accounting including sales analysis
  • Prepare and reconcile daily and weekly reports
  • Assist in monthly forecasting and modelling for budgets and forecasts
  • Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Assist with the development of processes and systems enhancements
  • Assist with submissions around forecasts, budgets and actuals
  • Support on ad hoc duties & projects across wider finance team
ProfileThe ideal profile for this exciting Graduate Accountant role, should have the following attributes:
  • Recent graduate (2022/23) within a numerical/accounting or STEM discipline
  • Excellent academics, ideally from a Russell Group university (2.1+)
  • 6-12 months of experience in a finance placement year/post university.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly analytical and numerical
  • Great attention to detail
  • Interest in studying towards an qualification (e.g. ACCA/CIMA)
  • Background or interest in Media would be beneficial
Salary & Benefits£28,000 to £30,000 plus benefits including:
