The Finance Systems Lead will support the growth and development of our finance products in line with strategic directives and future roadmap. You will work with internal business leaders and partners to determine what is working (or not), research anddeploy new features alongside our strategic partners and provide input and technical advice to our Finance product owners.Finance Systems LeadWestgate, London (Hybrid) Up to 120K + 7-15% bonus + other benefits Job DetailsYou will have full accountability for delivering new features and improvements to our strategic product suite and taking support ownership for applications that are peripheral to our core ERPs. This is a highly collaborative role, where success requires gettinginto the detail of the product with the development teams, as well as being able to influence and engage executive and internal partners to deliver business value.The Finance systems estate is made up of several ERPs/Finance platforms, but primarily Maconomy and Microsoft. Ongoing demand for change is high as the business looks to not only mature financial management, but also; business transformation, data initiatives,reporting, consolidation, and M&A activity are all drawing on the global finance systems team. This is against a backdrop of shifting to a more mature ITSM (IT Service Management).What youll be doing* Utilise your strong finance knowledge to build intuitive experiences that deliver business value* Expertly communicate our strategy across the organisation to influence partners to align behind our objectives* Lead, develop, and inspire an Agile Delivery team of analysts, domain experts, developers, architects, and data analysts* Lead teams to define and execute against our most important priorities in service to our vision and strategic goals* Establish or participate in Design Thinking, Agile, and Lean rituals which establish a rhythm for the team, promote ongoing communication, and iterative refinement of product initiatives* Champion the use of the right technology to deliver on product initiatives and strategic intents* Serve as an inspiring leader, contributing practitioner, career guide, and mentor to your teamsThe skills & experience youll need* Demonstrable experience in and passion for building and implementing great products* Working knowledge and best practice of Finance Systems design in the context of ERP products. Ideally experience of Deltek - Maconomy, but also SAP, Oracle, Onestream, Microsoft 365 and Netsuite.* Experience working with Product Management, Agile, Design Thinking, and Lean methodologies* Willingness and desire to lead product teams that work across multiple disparate finance applications.* Experience implementing at least one major ERP lifecycle project* Demonstrable experience leading successful teams* Actively support establishing and maturing the target operating model, including documenting processes and procedures* Develop and mature relationship with the business, enhancing business confidence in the Enterprise Business Solutions team* Strong leader, comfortable communicating to senior leadership and challenging existing paradigms* Outstanding communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills, including the ability to clearly communicate technology concepts to non technology personnel* Take ownership for issues and work to resolve them in a practical manner which aligns with the strategic architecture* Customer focused, committed to excellence, solid attention to detail and a great teammate
