My client, a leading consultancy firm are looking to hire an Employee Relations Specialist to join their team on 6 month temporary basis.As an Employee Relations Specialist, your primary responsibility is to promote a positive and productive work environment by managing and enhancing relationships between employees and the organisation.Your duties include:* Consistent application of company policies and procedures. Provide guidance to both employees and management on interpretation and compliance with policies.* Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints, allegations, or violations of policies. Compile findings and recommend appropriate corrective actions or preventive measures.* Full management of Employee Handbook.* Collaborate with HR to develop and implement initiatives that enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organise events and activities to foster a positive workplace culture.* Facilitate effective communication between employees and management. Advise on best practices for open and transparent communication to maintain a healthy work environment.* Identify employee relations trends and issues, and recommend training programs to address them. Provide guidance on conflict resolution skills and promote a positive workplace culture.* Stay informed about labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices. Ensure that employee relations practices align with legal requirements and proactively address potential issues.* Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations matters. Prepare reports and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.* Work closely with HR, management, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and practices that contribute to a positive employee experience.* Continuously assess and improve employee relations processes to enhance the overall employee experience and contribute to a healthy organisational culture.Skills and experience:* Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and investigations.* Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.* Excellent communication, mediation, and interpersonal skills.* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.* If you are passionate about creating a positive workplace culture and have the skills to navigate employee relations challenges, we invite you to apply for the Employee Relations Specialist position.
