Job Description

Job title: Electrician Location: Covering West London Salary: £36,000 - £40,000Job type: Permanent We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Social Housing Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations within our social housing properties. This rolerequires a commitment to safety, attention to detail, and excellent technical skills.Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct electrical inspections and assessments within social housing properties.
  2. Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components.
  3. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues in a timely manner.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards and regulations.
  5. Collaborate with other maintenance professionals to address broader property maintenance issues.
  6. Provide excellent customer service to residents and colleagues.
  7. Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Requirements:
  1. Relevant certifications - including 18th edition, 2391 and NVQ level 3
  2. Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in social housing or a similar setting.
  3. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and regulations.
  4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  6. Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
  7. Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
