Job Description

Sector: Civil Engineering, HighwaysAn award-winning company have been awarded 60% of works on theScheme Delivery Framework (SDF)for a specialist contractor. They are currently looking for a Site Engineer to join their team, preferably post-graduate levelalthough HNC or HND Civils qualificationswould be equally welcome.Requirements:

  • 2, 3 or 4 years experience working with a contractor on site
  • CSCS card
  • Experience of overseeing subcontractors, managing quality control and QA would be an advantage
  • Recording all events on site in a daily diary is an imperative
  • Being able to take measurements accurately and to interpret and provide technical data, record as built information, read drawings and ability in CAD software are essential
  • The ability to communicate clearly in good English - both written and spoken.
Other duties will include measurement of site works, implementation of company procedures, client liaison, representation at site meetings, Specification compliance, ordering of materials and plant, marking out repair areas and reporting on site progress.They are not looking for setting out engineers or designers as neither of these activities form part of their main core of works.Offering:
