Recruitment Consultancy is excited to bring to market a new opportunity for a Procurement Specialist to join our client who is renowned for its innovation and strong presence in the Manufacturing sector. Following an exciting rebrand and relaunchlast October, our client is on the lookout for a driven individual to contribute to their ongoing success and growth.Position: Procurement SpecialistLocation: Great Bridge, UKSalary: £35,000Contract Type: Permanent - Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm (40 hours)Reporting To: Commercial ManagerThe Role:As the Procurement Specialist you will manage new and existing Commercial contracts, drive vendor performance through quality and cost reviews, conduct tendering and research alternative sources.Manage the full lifecycle of the Procurement process, including Tendering, Negotiating, Contract Award, and Management.Key Responsibilities:Ÿ Managing existing commercial services and contracts.Ÿ On boarding of new commercial suppliers.Ÿ Correspond with key suppliers and business partners.Ÿ Review, negotiate and secure cost savings to the business.Ÿ Coordinate supplier bids and contact renewal dates.Ÿ Deal with supplier enquiries and bid progression.Ÿ Monitor and record the performance of suppliers.Ÿ Manage the company’s insurance, and ensure the group is being compliant with new or updated regulations.Ÿ Working in conjunction with the Facilities Department.About You:You will have proven capability of delivering deals - from mid to higher levels of complexity and which may be global in nature, including all aspects of the tender process.Ideally educated to Degree level inBusiness, Economics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
